Waterfalls
One of PA's scenic attractions
This is the Blandburg Mountain gorge that leads into the waterfall.
The waterfall eventually crosses under the road to meet this mountain stream.
The waterfall starts high up in the mountains before spilling out over the terraced rocks and splashing down into a small pool.
These photos were taken on April 19th, 2003.
The day was warm, but it was late spring. Hence the absence of many leaves.
In the winter and early spring, this waterfall overflows with water.
In the summer, the water flows to a trickle, but some water still flows year round.
