Flight 93 Memorial
Located about 3 miles off Rt. 30 - just north of Shanksville

The Pennsylvania field where Flight 93 crashed on 9/11/01. Today, the crash site itself is protected by a fence.

The row of angels marks the boundary of the memorial. Beyond that line, the field is posted as a no trespassing area.

There is one tin angel for every person aboard Flight 93.

Many items, such as this grouping of flags, were left at the site in they days immediatly after 9/11.

There are also benches featuring the flight crew's names.

There are draglines from the old Black Diamond Coal Co. just opposite the crsh site.

The farm house opposite the crash site. They were among the first people to call in that the plane had gone down.

This wall reflects some of the many items visitors have left at the site.

Also on the wall is a fight figther's jacket from the Shanksville Fire Dept., one of the first crews to reach the site.
