The black doors and windows that seem to lead to nowhere today were once used to unload railroad box cars. A small rail spur, branched off here from the main PRR line to serve the Eureka store.

The old brick and railroad bed is still visible behind the store and borders the Rails To Trails line. The partly underground doors were for unloading merchandise and coal.

Though they appear to unused, the doors do still open and are used by Shalaney's.

There are historical markers along Rails To Trails, including this one that tells of the Franklin Mine Disaster.

The old Pennsylvania Railroad station, now a storage building for Shalaney's Furniture. The President Harrison historical marker stands in front of it.

The old Luxnberg's Department store. In the 1970s and 80s, it was known as Anderson's Department store. In the 1990s, it was a woman's gym and today it's a hair and tanning salon.
