The back of the old Scandanavian store. The barely visible door was used to bring the merchandise into the store and into the upstairs storeroom area.

Pete Tatanish's Barber Shop. The shop's entrance was from the front proch of the house.

This white building in the back was the actual barber shop.

Today the building is undergoing restoration. The gravel path on the right is the old railroad bed, now a Rails To Trails path.

The original Houtzdale Trust Company bank. Today, it is part of Shalaney's furniture store.

The bank was later moved to the next block, one building away from the old one.

Across the street, Shalaney's also has a second store, this one with appliances and more funriture. This view looks west down Hannah Street.
